Additional mileage restrictions may apply. To be eligible for coverage, the contract must be received by CARS within 30 days of vehicle purchase. Vehicles purchased beyond this period will require an inspection. The vehicle must have readily available used parts; those with limited or no availability of used parts are not eligible. Additionally, vehicles that are True Mileage Unknown (TMU) or have a branded title are ineligible. Vehicles over 20 years old, as well as those averaging less than 3,000 miles per year, require pre-authorization from CARS. Certain vehicle models are excluded from eligibility: Altered/Modified vehicles, Audi models including A8, RS, S, or twin turbo; BMW 7 series, M series, or Z series; Camaro ZL1; Corvette Z06 or ZR1; Daewoo; Diesel cars or SUVs; Electric cars; Fiat; Freightliner; Hummer; Land Rover; Mercedes 5.5L 500 series or AMG; Mini; vehicles over 1 ton; vehicles used as Police/Taxi services; Porsche; Saab; Saturn; Smart cars; Special interest vehicles; Suzuki; V10/V12 cars/SUVs; VW with V8 engines; WRX; and models from SRT, SVT, or Evolution series.
